We loved this little French cafe, will definitely go back. Especially nice being a wheat free person to be able to have a delicious gallette for lunch. Dog friendly too! Very nice staff.

I have been frequenting Montparnasse Cafe for the last 5 years and I can only say good things about it. The owners are lovely and aren't afraid to have a personal relationship with customers, making the experience wonderful every time I visit. The staff are always exceptional, providing top shelf customer service. And last but not least, the food is fresh and leaves little to be desired. A definite recommendation for those who live in, or are visiting, Kensington.

A hidden gem in Kensington! The inside has a Parisian cafe atmosphere and decor and is perfect for breakfast/brunch or coffee and dessert after shopping. The coffee is good, served in adorable rustic cups and the food is top notch. We have tried most of the menu so far and the top 3 are the eggs Benedict, the croque madame and of course the croissants. Great selection of freshly baked pastries too. The staff is fantastic, friendly and with humour. Prices are average considering the location and quantity/quality of food.

Liked this place, was very authentic with a wide offer from good desserts to omelettes, crepes and gallets. Staff is friendly and enjoy each other company too which is nice to see in people working together. We were allowed with the laptops. Tables were not that big to work with a laptop but still good thing there no restriction policy and we could fine sockets. Toilets are clean and well fitted. Many thanks, will be coming more

Brunch at Montparnasse Cafe was a delight. I opted for the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon served on toasted sourdough. The eggs were luxuriously soft, the salmon was delicately cured, and the sourdough offered the perfect balance of chew and crisp. A lovely spot for a refined yet relaxed brunch experience.

The highlight was the heavenly pancakes with blueberries, perfectly fluffy and accompanied by bursts of fruity sweetness. The exceptional black coffee, rich and aromatic, was the ideal start to the day. The attentive and friendly staff provided exceptional service, adding to the overall experience. A lovely local cafe. Super delicious Chicken Sandwich baguette! (I’m normally not a sandwich person at all), healthy salad, fresh French pastries - Pain au chocolat is super as croissant is! Very friendly staffs - Would definitely be back.
